We have a matching donor up to $25,000, so every dollar you donate automatically doubles!
When you join us for our Victory Walk-a-Run-Thon, you are supporting women in our 12 month residential recovery and restoration discipleship program. They come in feeling hopeless, struggling with life controlling addictions. Their past brought them to a place of utter despair - through abuse, neglect, trafficking, depression, self harm, and more. At the Abbotsford Women's Centre they find a new identity and restore their lives to their full potential - physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
Together, we can help women to experience total transformation. We can help then to heal their past and reclaim their families and their futures!
- $25 for Adults 19+
- $15 for Youth 12-18
- Free for kids under 12
- Teams - as above, per person (choose a team captain and team name)
Online registration closes Thursday September 13.
Registration table opens at 9:00am on Saturday September 15th (Mill Lake, by the water park). Our Victory Run and Walk Laps around the lake will be timed and begin promptly at 10am, finishing at 11:30am. Our PRIZE PRESENTATION will follow.
PRIZES AND FUNDRAISING
Our program depends on the financial contributions of individuals and community partners. We encourage ALL participants to fundraise! This can be done by raising personal funds through a variety of ways:
Ask friends and family to SPONSOR YOU! Your name will be on our participant list after you register. Think about it...if 10 people give you $20, that's already $200!
Get the word out and SHARE through social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
Have a summer garage sale or car wash and donate the proceeds to the walk/run.
Get some teams together! Maybe your friends or co-workers want to join us for this FUN DAY!
Prizes will be awarded to our TOP Fundraisers and TOP Teams. 1st and 2nd prizes will also be awarded to the FASTEST men, women, youth and teams.
